Description

Discover the “City of a Thousand Minarets” on a full-day tour of Cairo, with round-trip bus transfers from Hurghada. Relax in air-conditioned comfort on the long journey
Upon arrival, your private Egyptian guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to see the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Enjoy stunning views of the Giza Pyramids as you explore the funerary temples of Khufu, Khafre, and Mycenae.
Learn how the temples were built and hear the stories behind their myths. Continue to the Great Sphinx, a giant statue of a mythical beast reclining with the body of a lion and the face of the pharaoh Khafre. Move on to the Valley Temple opposite, attributed to the pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at the feat of ancient engineering.
Afterwards, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Then drive to downtown Cairo to explore the ancient churches. You can also choose to add a Nile River cruise and camel ride to your tour when booking.
